ARTS AND CULTURE SPECIAL INITIATIVE GRANTS

Arts and culture are key elements of the Foundation’s grant-making priorities. Over time, our arts funding has evolved to focus on artists working at the intersections of equity, racial and social justice. Our hope is that our funding will amplify the voices of artists whoprovoke thought, action  and dialogue through their work. These grantmaking programs aim to create opportunities, particularly for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) artists working in Pittsburgh’s neighborhood to practice their craft and produce thought-provoking art. For additional Arts and Culture funding opportunities, visit the foundation-directed grantmaking page.
